Gad joined Ben-Ami & Associates in 2004, was certified as a patent attorney in 2006, and became a Partner in 2010. He drafts and prosecutes patent application worldwide in fields such as high-tech, computerized systems, telecommunications, telephony, applications, mechanical inventions and medical devices. Gad also prepares legal opinions such as patentability opinions and freedom to operate.
Gad's previous experience in the high-tech industry both as a software engineer and as product manager and entrepreneur helps him tremendously to understand the complex issues of patenting an invention and devising an intellectual property strategy that would fit the business requirements of the inventor or company.

Gad worked 4 years as a software engineer in the 80's coding (at the time) advanced multimedia applications. After completing his MBA in the United States, Gad worked 11 additional years for US high-tech start-ups in product management and business development for advanced technologies such as smartphone operating systems & applications and location-based services.
